Construction Project Manager #F1506051

 

Description of Duties:

Long- term/full-time positions for projects throughout our Mid-Atlantic and Southern Regional Offices.  Serves as the primary Federal Owners Representative on site managing a single, large building project or several smaller concurrent building projects.  May be responsible for managing staff on larger projects.  Responsible for managing quality, budget and schedule, coordinating the activities of the Architect/Engineer, General Contractor, tenants and other interested parties while reporting directly to the Federal Owner.

 

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management.

• At least 5 years of experience in design/construction management for Federal Building projects required.

• Licensed as a Professional Engineer, Registered Architect or Certified Construction Manager preferred.

• LEED AP or PMP certification a plus.

• Experience as a Construction Manager for the US General Services Administration (GSA) highly desired.

 

 

Construction Inspector #F1506052

 

Description of Duties:

Full and part-time positions for projects throughout our Mid-Atlantic and Southern Regional Offices.  Serves as the onsite technical Construction Inspector for a single large building project or several smaller concurrent building projects.  May be responsible for managing quality, documenting progress, assisting the project team, and overseeing the budget and schedule as owner’s representative.

 

Qualifications:

• Requires at least 10 years of experience in the building trades.

• Experience as a building Construction Inspector a plus.

• Experience as a Construction Inspector for the US General Services Administration (GSA) highly desired

 

 

Design Project Manager/Space Planner #F1506053

 

Description of Duties:

Long- term/full-time positions for projects throughout our Mid-Atlantic and Southern Regional Offices.  Serves as the primary Federal Owners Representative during the design phase for a single large building project or several smaller concurrent building projects.  May be responsible for managing staff on larger projects.  Responsible for developing conceptual requirements including Program of Requirements; managing quality, budget and schedule; and coordinating the activities of the Architect/Engineer during design.  Coordinates all parties including designers and end users throughout the design process.

 

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in architecture or interior design,

• At least 5 years of experience in Design Management / Space Planning for Federal Building projects required.

• Licensed as a Registered Architect or Certified Interior Designer preferred.

• LEED AP or PMP certification a plus.

• Experience as a Design Project Manager /Space Planner for the US General Services Administration (GSA) highly desired.

 

 

Marketing Coordinator

 

Description of Duties:

Position is based in the New York City Office. This position will provide marketing, proposal and graphics support for internal and external communications.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field from an accredited four-year university.

• 5-10 years’ experience writing proposals and preparing materials such as brochures, trade show displays, etc. for the A/E/CM industry.

• Demonstrates knowledge and familiarity with all federal, state, and local proposal format and procurement procedures.

• The ability to multi-task, manage and meet fast-paced deadlines as a team player, coordinating principals between multiple offices and locations.

• Expertise in MS Office applications is essential.

• Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).

• Experience updating new and ongoing project data and resumes into Deltek Vision.

• Write, edit, and proof read messaging for internal & external use on media such as the company’s intranet and digital signage.

• Regularly attend industry events and serve as mobile marketing ambassador, and assist in planning for events such as tradeshows and conferences.

• Promote AFG brand presence at shows, including preparation and delivery logistics of booth and other materials needed onsite.

• Research various federal, state and local solicitation websites to identify potential AFG opportunities and distribute to the appropriate Capture Management Teams.

• Maintain hard copy of MMS/CRM files.
