AFG provided construction management services for extensive upgrading and rehabilitation of the following schools for the NJSDA which included selection and coordination of multiple contractors, scheduling and construction inspection.
Collins Elementary. The project at Collins Elementary School involved renovations to an 18,128 SF area of the 71,000 SF one-story facility. The work included converting three existing classrooms into two new kindergarten classrooms and a group instruction room, and installing new heating/air conditioning and telephone/data systems.
Dunfee Elementary. The Dunfee School, a 38,000 SF one-story facility, was enlarged by a 20,500 SF addition that included several classrooms, art and music rooms and a gym. The entire building received a new roof, fire protection sprinkler system, telephone/data system, and the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Horbelt Elementary. A 15,500 SF addition to accommodate several classrooms and support areas were built onto the existing 57,000 SF, two-story Horbelt School. Renovations to the existing building included mechanical, electrical and plumbing upgrades and new fire protection and telephone/data systems.
