Ashley Abdullah, AFG Project Director, Earns PMP Certification
AFG Group, Inc. (AFG) is proud to announce that Ashley Abdullah, a distinguished Project Manager and Project Director, has recently earned her Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
This certification underscores Ashley’s dedication to excellence and her commitment to advancing her expertise in project management.
The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI), is a globally recognized credential that validates a professional’s skills, knowledge, and experience in project management. It signifies expertise in leading and directing projects and ensures adherence to industry best practices and standards.
With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Ashley has been an invaluable asset to AFG, bringing her extensive knowledge in design, project management, and leadership to a wide array of projects. She has successfully managed numerous high-profile projects for federal and private sector clients, including the General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Defense (DoD), and Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
One of her most recent projects, the historic GSA Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium Great Hall Restoration in Washington DC, recently earned a 2024 Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) National Capital Chapter Project Achievement Award. Ashley holds a Master of Arts in Interior Design and a Bachelors Degree in Marketing.
